Residential electrical work
Residential services include:
- Service upgrades from 100 amp to 200 amp, overhead or underground, and larger where a load calculation calls for it
- Panel replacements, including the fuse boxes still in plenty of older homes
- Subpanel additions for garages, additions and finished basements
- Breaker repairs and replacements, including breakers that trip with nothing obviously running
- Meter and emergency disconnect replacement, set where the inspector wants it
- Underground service conversions, trenched from the pad transformer to the house
- Risers and temporary service for new construction
- Full rough-in wiring for new builds and additions, boxes set and homeruns dressed before the drywall is hung
- Whole house rewires, including knob and tube removal
- Targeted rewiring, one circuit or one room, where a full rewire is not needed
- Low voltage runs for data, thermostats and doorbells, pulled with the rough-in
- Recessed lighting in new construction and in finished ceilings, plus under cabinet lighting and fixture replacement
- LED hex and shop lighting in garages and workshops
- Exterior gooseneck and barn lighting on detached garages, sheds and driveways
- Outdoor GFCI receptacles in weather rated in-use covers, on posts and decks
- New outlets, GFCI upgrades, USB outlets, switch replacements, three way switches and dimmers
- Level 2 EV charger installation for all brands, including the circuit back to the panel
- Generator hookups and transfer switches
- Hardwired, interconnected smoke detectors, which Delaware code requires in homes
- Troubleshooting: dead outlets, flickering lights, a circuit that will not hold

Panels and service upgrades need a look in person before anyone quotes them. If something behind the wall changes the number, you'll hear about it then, not on the invoice.
